About the project
This project is allowing young people from three partner countries (Italy, Poland, UK) to explore the issues of active citizenship and democratic participation in their communities, countries as well as on the European level.
This is being done through a series of workshops and creative activities, that allow young people to reflect on their rights and obligations as adult citizens and on the ways of influencing the reality around them in a peaceful and democratic way.
As a result of the project, a Youth Democracy Guide will be created. This will foster young peoples’ skills and self-confidence. They will be responsible for drafting and producing the guide. It will also allow them to develop intercultural awareness and international team-work skills.
Last but not least, the Guide will be a tangible and visible effect of the project, and will later be distributed in the participating countries in three forms: electronic (CD), online (website) and hard copy (print).
The online version of the Intercultural Youth Democracy Guide will be presented on this website.
